ABOUT US

What We Do

We are a Southern California based 501c3 non-profit animal rescue. We take in all breeds of all sizes! We created our rescue in memory of our loving Chihuahua, Bella, who passed away recently at ten years of age. Our Bellita was one of the biggest blessings in our lives, and we have dedicated our rescue to her in hopes of sharing all the love we have for her with other pups who need it. At Bella's Animal Rescue, we rescue and rehabilitate animals in need, using adoption fees and donations to cover veterinary expenses, food, supplies, medication, etc. We accept foster applications to house our rescues until they are adopted. We would not be where we are today without the support of our incredible fosters and donations from our generous community.

ODIN
2 YEARS OLD
DALMATION/PITBULL MIX

Odin's story:

Odin was going to be euthanized at a local shelter, and he was rescued only a matter of hours before his scheduled euthanasia. Odin has been under our care for a little over a year now. He does have some behavioral issues he is working through, as his past has left him with some triggers that lead to reactionary behavior. However, when given the chance, he will steal your heart. He has had a significant amount of training to help him work through these triggers, and he will need a home to provide him a lot of structure and keep up his training.

Lux's Story:

Meet Lux, the remarkable 1.5-year-old German Shepherd Mix with an incredible journey. Lux found her way to Bella's Animal Rescue in July 2022 and has been on the quest for her forever home ever since. Not only is Lux dog-friendly, but she also boasts excellent leash manners, a solid place command, and a strong down stay. In fact, she's on her way to becoming e-collar conditioned soon! If you're considering adding a furry companion to your life, please give Lux a chance. She's ready to bring love, loyalty, and joy to her forever home. BECOME A FOSTER

Help us out by becoming a foster!

Your support is important to our work at Bella’s Animal Rescue. We could not do the work that we do without our incredible fosters! Fosters take care of our rescues for a minimum of 1-2 weeks while we find them their forever homes! To foster for us, all you have to do is fill out the foster application. You never have to spend any of your own money! We will provide you with everything our rescue pup will need (food, treats, bed, crate, etc.). Please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have in regards to fostering. We are very accommodating! The application is linked below!
